Greetings and Salutations!

My work revolves around my greatest passion. PEOPLE. As an educator my practice focuses on my students as individuals and tailoring the content for them- rather than changing THEM for the content. So in fancy schmance education lingo I'm a fan of student led curriculum.

My specialty in illustration is bringing life to spaces and concepts- how do you communicate with your clients what will happen in your ideal exhibit, building, etc? You add people!

As an artist I focus on two themes- portraiture and play. The portraiture is a desire to understand and present them back to the world with my touch - I see the work as performance. Something happens when you spend hours upon hours looking at someone's face.

My play is about letting go and letting my lines, shapes, and textures lead me. I use non precious materials and use my intuition as a guide. Play is also a huge part of my education work. Play is GOOD for all of us no matter our age. I hope my playful paintings and creations give you that familiar childhood itch to get lost in whimsy.

My passion in life is to serve people and evoke feelings and experiences. I want to showcase the beauty of your spaces and faces! I'm currently closed for commissions but you can e-mail me for my rates for future commissions.
